Our Blessing Named Jesse

Jesse Quintin was born September 26, 2007, the much-loved fifth son of Kristan and Chad. He was diagnosed shortly after birth with AV Canal Heart Defect and Down Syndrome. Thursday, January 10th, Jesse had surgery to repair his heart defect. Friday morning he suddenly went into cardiac arrest. After 45 min. of CPR he was attached to life support. By God's healing hand his heart started to beat again and he came off life support on January 13. We created this blog to keep everyone updated.

He's WARM - Closing chest at 11:00!

Kristan & Chad want to personally post, but I wanted to run down here & update y'all.

Jesse is having his chest closed up at 11:00 am - that's in about 1 hour and 15 minutes! It is absolutely a miracle. He's warm for the first time since the original surgery. His blood pressure has leveled out. His kidneys are working. He has woken up and squirmed around several times, but they keep sedating him back to sleep. Let me repeat, it is absolutely a miracle!!! Praise God!

I won't give you any of the other awesome God stories. I'll leave that to Kristan & Chad to share with you, but I wanted to update everyone and ask you to pray from 11:00 on ... the hours after they close his chest can be "touch-and-go"

Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow.
Praise Him all creatures here below.
Praise Him above ye heavenly host.
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Amen.

Love, Kim
