Our Blessing Named Jesse

Jesse Quintin was born September 26, 2007, the much-loved fifth son of Kristan and Chad. He was diagnosed shortly after birth with AV Canal Heart Defect and Down Syndrome. Thursday, January 10th, Jesse had surgery to repair his heart defect. Friday morning he suddenly went into cardiac arrest. After 45 min. of CPR he was attached to life support. By God's healing hand his heart started to beat again and he came off life support on January 13. We created this blog to keep everyone updated.

  1. Chad and Kristen,

This is Heidi Griffith again in Brush, Ken and Bonnie Amen's daughter. I cannot tell you how your little blessing named Jesse had become our little blessing as well. Our family has flocked to this site the entire weekend. We have been with you in prayer, thoughts and tears. What a miracle!!! Praise God for his infinte goodness and mercy!! Really quick I wanted to tell you of our oldest daughters prayer yesterday, that little Jesse would put the doctors in AWE because of God's working power. And I would say he is well on his way to that!! We love you in Christ!!

  2. Dear Lange family,

We are praying for you and your little one. I read Psalm 108 just now, it starts off saying O God my heart is fixed I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

    with love,

  4. I am a friend of your Aunt Susan. I have kept up on Jesse thru Susan and give thanks and praise that he is doing well. God Blessed you with this child. He is a special gift. I pray that he gets well soon so that you can all smile together and bask in his glow. He is truly touched by God.
