Please join us in prayer. Here are some specific requests:
That Jesse, Kristan and Chad (as well as the doctors, nurses and other visitors) will be free from infection or illness. Even a cold can be life-threatening to Jesse at this time.
That the doctors will be able to diagnose and treat what is causing Jesse's oxygen level to drop when he slept. Right now, on the ventilator, his oxygen level is NORMAL - praise God - so maybe this is behind him, but if not, it would be such a blessing if they could figure out if there is some sleep-related oxygen problem.
That Kristan and Chad would be filled with peace and wisdom.
That Jesse will come off the ventilator and sedation smoothly.
That Matthew, Collin and Sam would stay healthy and be able to visit soon.
That GOD would be GLORIFIED in all things.
Our Blessing Named Jesse
Jesse Quintin was born September 26, 2007, the much-loved fifth son of Kristan and Chad. He was diagnosed shortly after birth with AV Canal Heart Defect and Down Syndrome. Thursday, January 10th, Jesse had surgery to repair his heart defect. Friday morning he suddenly went into cardiac arrest. After 45 min. of CPR he was attached to life support. By God's healing hand his heart started to beat again and he came off life support on January 13. We created this blog to keep everyone updated.
